Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The public is being asked to help a local family torn apart in a brutal attack.
Family and friends have organized an amateur boxing competition to benefit the Martinez family.
Yadira Martinez and her 10-year-old daughter Karla were murdered in their home in April.
The fundraiser is happening Saturday, May 26 at 1 p.m. at the Richard Steele Boxing Club near Cheyenne Avenue and Simmons Street.
The event is free but donations are encouraged.
All the money raised with go to Arturo Martinez and his two sons.
