Roscoe Smith transferring to UNLV
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- UConn forward Roscoe Smith is transferring to UNLV, Rebels head coach Dave Rice announced Friday.
Smith signed a written offer of financial aid and will join the men's basketball program this summer.
Smith was a started on the 2011 National Championship team, and played as a sophomore during the 2011-12 season.
The Baltimore, MD native is listed as 6-feet 8-inches and 205 pounds.
"We are excited to have Roscoe join our program," Coach Rice said. "He is a terrific player, a proven winner and has a tremendous work ethic."
