Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the man hit and killed in Henderson on Friday morning as 71-year-old Robert Levesque.
Levesque was walking on a sidewalk on Hampton Road, near Sun City Drive, when a driver veered off the road and struck him at about 7 a.m.
The area of Hampton Road was shut down for several hours as police questioned the driver, who was also an elderly man.
