Nevada service members get financial advice
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- The wife of retired Army Gen. David Petraeus is giving Nevada service members some advice on how to protect their cash.
Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto and Holly Petraeus are scheduled to meet with service members Wednesday at Nellis Air Force Base outside Las Vegas.
Holly Petraeus is director of the Office of Service Member Affairs at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Petraeus and Masto are expected to dine with service members and then hold a town hall for military families on predatory lending practices and other financial issues.
Petraeus was a military spouse for 37 years. She held a similar event in Colorado on Tuesday.
Her husband served as the top U.S. commander in Iraq and now heads the CIA.
