Motorcyclist critical after hitting parked truck
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A 22-year-old man was critically injured when his motorcycle collided with a parked truck at about 9:31 p.m. Sunday, May 13, on East Morning Springs Drive at South Trombone Lane.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Kyle Ryan was riding a 1998 Suzuki GSXR750 when the accident happened.
Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicate the motorcycle was accelerating east on Morning Springs when Ryan locked the brakes at the corner and slid into the truck.
Ryan was transported to University Medical Center and is in critical condition.
The accident is still being investigated by LVMPD.
