Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- One of the two Nevada state prison inmates is back in custody after they escaped from a forest work crew. The other inmate is still at large.

Around 4 a.m. Friday morning, Jonathan Jackson, 29, was apprehended by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.

Authorities are stilling searching for the other escaped inmate, 32-year-old Spike Brown. He is 5-feet 9-inches tall and 170 pounds.

The Nevada Department of Corrections said the inmates walked away from a Nevada Division of Forestry Crew vehicle Wednesday, and were seen near the area of U.S. 95 approaching Interstate 15 in Clark County.
