Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are asking for help from the public to track down who robbed and killed 83-year-old George Moreland.

The crime happened on Oct. 19 when police say two men attacked Moreland outside of an ATM in a shopping center at Las Vegas Boulevard North and Cheyenne Avenue.

During the attack, Moreland was reportedly pushed down, punched and robbed of just $20. Police found him lying near the ATM.

Moreland was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries. In February, Moreland died as a result of the attack. The Clark County coroner has ruled his death a homicide.

One of the attackers was described as a black male adult, 20-30 years old, about 5-feet 5-inches tall with short hair and a tan T-shirt. The second attacker was described as a black male adult.

A spokesman for the police department said they are looking for leads in the case. Anyone that may have witnessed the incident at about 7:45 on October 19 is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
