Drink & Drag officially opens this weekend on Fremont Street
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Although the nation's first drag queen staffed bar and gaming venue has already been packing them in, Drink & Drag will have its official grand opening on Saturday, May 5.
Drink & Drag is the brainchild of the owner of Krave Nightclub on the Las Vegas Strip.
Much like Krave, Drink & Drag plans to be a haven for the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender community, but plans to dazzle the straight clientele with fabulous drag performances and great service.
The 22,000-square-foot venue features a full bar, lounge seating, 12 bowling lanes, pool tables, multiplayer gaming consoles with interactive gaming chairs, air hockey, table-top board games and much more.
There are also four lanes of private bowling and a private VIP area.
The venue will also feature specialty nights throughout the week such as Super Gay Sundays with $1 and $2 food and drink specials and bowling for $1.
Drink & Drag has 24 full-time drag queens on staff to service its customers.
Lady Bunny is scheduled to perform at the grand opening Saturday night. DJ Michael Graves will spin tunes throughout the evening.
The new bar is located on the second level of Neonopolis in the space that was once occupied by Jillian's.
