Coroner IDs pedestrian killed April 28 on Craig Road
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner's office has identified the woman killed on April 28 on Craig Road as 58-year-old Becky KunKel of Las Vegas.
Becky and August Kunkel were crossing Craig Road near Las Vegas Boulevard when they were struck by a 2004 Nissan Xterra driven by 38-year-old Regina Thomas.
They were not in a crosswalk at the time.
Becky Kunkel was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel. August KunKel, 54, was transported to University Medical Center in critical condition.
The driver of the Nissan was arrested for driving under the influence and was booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
This was the 45th traffic-related fatality in Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction in 2012.
