Accused murderer Bryan Clay back in court Wednesday
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The man accused of brutally murdering and sexually assaulting a mother and a daughter will face a Las Vegas judge Wednesday.
It will be the second straight day that 22-year-old Bryan Clay has appeared in court.
He was in court Tuesday to face accusations of domestic violence and child abuse in a separate case in relation to a teenage ex-girlfriend.
But Wednesday, it will be all about what police call "a drug-fueled crime spree" that left a mother and daughter dead.
Clay is charged with killing 38-year-old Ignacia "Yadira" Martinez and her 10-year-old daughter, Karla in a brutal attack.
He is also charged with trying to kill Karla's father, Arturo. He is still in a coma caused by skull fractures at University Medical Center.
The Martinez family were not the only people that Clay attacked.
His DNA was also found on another victim -- a 50-year-old woman who was sexually assaulted not long before he is alleged to have killed Yadira and Karla.
In fact, it was the attack on that woman that eventually tied Clay to the attack on the Martinez family.
Clay is looking at multiple charges for home invasion, murder, attempted murder, burglary and sexual assault.
