Teenager hit by SUV near Mountain Vista and Tropicana
Las Vegas, NV (KNTV) -- According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a teenage boy was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Mountain Vista Street and East Tropicana Avenue at about 7:09 a.m. this morning.
The boy has been transported to Sunrise Hospital. He is in serious condition but is expected to survive.
According to initial reports, the vehicle -- a Chevrolet SUV -- may have hit the boy while she was on a sidewalk. However, that has not been confirmed.
The southbound lanes of Mountain Vista were closed during investigation of the incident.
There is no other information available at this time.
