FBI profilers brought in to help find Arizona girl
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- The FBI has brought in specially trained profilers to help in the search of a 6-year-old girl who disappeared from her home in Tucson, Ariz., several days ago.
The move comes as police scaled back their search for first-grader Isabel Mercedes Celis.
More than 200 officers had been looking in her neighborhood and a landfill at one time, but only about 30 detectives and 20 officers were searching late Tuesday.
Police chief Robert Villasenor said Wednesday that they are looking again in dry washes to make sure Isabel didn't wander into an arroyo, which are dry stream beds that flow with water during rain storms.
Isabel was last seen in her room by her family Friday night. Police consider the case a suspicious disappearance and possible abduction.
