Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Family and friends are remembering the life of Theresa Valdez, who was tragically hit and killed while she walked home.
Those who were close to her, gathered for a rosary service Saturday evening, outside her home near East Lake Mead and 5th Street.
Valdez was hit and killed a week ago near Owens and Teton. Witnesses say the driver lost control of her car and drove onto the sidewalk.
Saturday, the family is planning a fundraiser to help with the funeral costs. A fund has been set up for the family at Bank of America, account # 501013009186.
