Candlelight vigil planned for victims of double slaying
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The community has already started a memorial in front of the house where a mother and daughter were killed earlier this week. Now, a candlelight vigil is being planned.
Ignancia "Yadira" Martinez and her daughter Karla were found beaten to death early Monday morning after a 9-year-old boy went to school and told people there that his mother and sister were dead.
The husband and father, Arturo, was found beaten and bloody in the home and is now recovering in the hospital.

Las Vegas police say that the house is one of the most horrific that they have seen and they are putting all their efforts to find out who killed the mother and daughter.
Police have not named anyone as a person of interest yet and are not speculating on a motive for the murders.
A friend of the family has established a fund for the family at Bank of America. Anybody looking to help out can go to any location and donate under the name of the Martinez Family Memorial Fund.
