Summerlin shooting case handed over to district attorney
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police have finished their investigation into the shooting death of a Summerlin intruder.
The Las Vegas Metro Police Department says the case has now been handed off to the district attorney, to determine if charges will be filed.
Demarcus Carter, 19, was shot to death in March in the backyard of a home near Sahara and Hualapai.
Records show Carter was arrested last year on 13 felonies in North Las Vegas, including two counts of home invasion.
