Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Investigators are asking for help from the public to find out who is responsible for starting a fire that destroyed a Muslim cemetary and funeral home that was still under construction.
It's been nearly two months since the fire, and detectives have still made no arrests in the case.
They believe it was started by human hands, but they're unsure whether it was accidental or intentional.
The fire happened overnight on February 22, near Lamb Boulevard and Carey Avenue. No one was injured, but the establishment was completely destroyed.
The FBI and Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are helping with the investigation. They get involved any time there's potential vandalism or arson at a religious site.
The fire has not been ruled a hate crime, but officials believe it is suspicious.
They also point out that there are a lot of homeless squatters who congregate in the area.
Anyone with information on the fire is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
