Pedestrian killed in Laughlin from California
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner's office has identified the pedestrian that was killed Saturday night in Laughlin as 62-year-old David Scott Simpson from Huntington Beach, Calif.
Simpson and his wife were crossing Casino Drive in Laughlin outside of a crosswalk when Simpson was struck by a pickup truck driven by Jack Lebsock from Akron, Colo.
Simpson was pronounced dead at the scene by responding emergency personnel. It appears that pedestrian error was the cause of the collision.
The accident is still under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
