American Gaming Assoc. calls for online poker crackdown
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- It's been one year since the FBI shut down several online gambling websites.
On the anniversary, the American Gaming Association (AGA) is calling for federal regulation for the industry.
On April 15, 2011, the feds shut down Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars and Absolute Poker.
Now, the AGA is asking Congress to change the rules that still allows offshore gambling sites to operate while websites in the Americas are blacked out.
