Police impersonator accused of kidnapping, raping woman
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Metro Police Dept. has arrested a man who allegedly kidnapped and raped a woman after offering her a free ride.
Police say 67-year-old Donald Caterino flashed a fake police badge at his victim after she got into his car. That's when he told her she was under arrest and cuffed her.
He then reportedly took her to the Palm Villas Apartment Complex in Whitney Ranch where he raped her before letting her go in the Arizona Charlie's parking lot on Boulder Highway.
Caterino is being charged with kidnapping, four counts of sexual assault and impersonating a police officer.
