Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The "Be Smart. Be Safe." crosswalk danger campaign is paying off in real cash at one local company.

Letizia Mass Media, an advertisement group, specializes in rolling billboards. The company has offered their drivers $100 cash incentives to go 100 days without any traffic incidents. The win-win solution allows the company to save on insurance claims and drivers to get bonuses.

The company says they got the idea from the "Be Smart. Be Safe." campaign Action News launched late last year.

"If we can give that money to the men who at the beginning make a difference, not at the end, we can inspire them," said Marla Letizia, CEO of Letizia Mass Media. "We've shown leadership to other business owners to sign the Channel 13 pledge and reward safety."
