Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- MLB All-Star Shane Victorino stopped by Action News this weekend to talk about his toy drive event benefiting Shade Tree Women & Children's Center and Toys for Tots.
The toy drive will take place Sunday, Dec. 18 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the PT Gold's location at 6570 South Buffalo at I-215.
The Shane Victorino Foundation was established by Philadelphia Phillies centerfielder and three-time Gold Glove award winner Victorino and his wife, Melissa.
Although the Foundation does much of its work in Philadelphia and Victorino's home state of Hawaii, this is the 4th year they've held a toy drive in Las Vegas.
"We are so thankful for the support of the Las Vegas community," said Victorino. "Every year, we look forward to making the holidays a little brighter for children in need."
