Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Plans for New Year's Eve in Las Vegas are under way, and organizers announced many of the details for "America's Party" in a press conference on Wednesday.

Fireworks will be lit off from Tropicana Las Vegas, MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, The Venetian and Stratosphere from south to north.

The show will feature music from Salsoul Orchestra, LMFAO, Lady Gaga, Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, Adele and ZZ Top.

Organizers say the fireworks show will last 8 minutes and 36 seconds and feature more than 56,400 effects on the Las Vegas Strip.

The pyrotechnic company Grucci is coordinating the fireworks in collaboration with the LVCVA and Las Vegas Events. More information can be found here.
