Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Signs warning drivers to slow down have appeared in the area where a trick-or-treater was hit by a car and killed on Halloween night.

"Slow Down 4 Faith" and other reminders printed on neon signs line the intersection of Haulapai and Sahara where 12-year-old Faith Love was struck and killed by an accused impaired driver.

The signs have only been up a few days, and accompany a memorial that continues to grow nearly a month later. Neighbors say they aren't sure, but they think the signs may have been placed there by Love's family.

Residents of the area say they've noticed a change brought on by the signs. One neighbor told Action News she's seen drivers slow down in the area instead of speed through the intersection.

Still, residents say a crosswalk is needed to mark the area where a school bus stops every day and children cross. So far there's been no indication one will be painted there.
