Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- School principals and local business leaders walked in each others' shoes on Tuesday as part of the 'Principal for a Day' program.
Business leaders and principals from across the Valley shadowed each other to get a different perspective.
Action News followed along a representative from the Smith Center who visited one local middle school.
"There are so many challenges that are facing teachers and administrators," she said. "Challenges that people in the community are not really aware of."
Participants say the program strengthens the partnership between schools and the business community.
More than 100 business leaders and school principals took part in the program this year.
