Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The search for a missing Washington toddler is taking detectives across state lines, to a locally-based dating website.
Police contacted the owner of the seekingarrangement.com website, Brandon Wade, last week asking for information about Julia Biryukova.
She appears to have created a profile on the site this summer using the initials JB, looking for a so-called 'sugar daddy'.
"She was looking a wealthy guy who could really take care of her and pamper her," Wade tells Action News.
According to the profile, Biryukova was seeking an allowance of $3,000 to $5,000 a month.
The profile page features nine photographs of Biryukova and describes her as 30 years old, a non-smoker and non-drinker who can "speak fluent Russian, Ukrainian and English" and lives in Redmond.
Wade tells Action News the account in question was accessed as recently as Monday, November 14. The IP address was traced to a Seattle-area computer.
Detectives aren't saying what information, if any, they gleaned from the site.
"I have to be very sensitive as we move forward about jeopardizing the investigation," says Major Michael Johnson of the Bellevue Police Department.
Biryukova initially told police she left Sky alone in her car Nov. 6 and went to get gas with her 4-year-old daughter. She said that when she came back about an hour later, Sky was gone.
Since then, detectives have poked holes in her story.
Her estranged husband, who was locked in a bitter custody dispute with Biryukova, is suspicious.
"I do believe that Julia is, she's responsible," says Solomon Metalwala.
How Biryukova's search for a sugar daddy fits into Sky's disappearance remains to be seen.
