Suspect arrested in fatal shooting at local gay bar
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police have arrested a suspect in the early-morning shooting that left a bartender dead near UNLV.
50-year-old Tracy Kaufmann was taken into custody on Monday afternoon in connection with the shooting.
Kaufmann will be booked into the Clark County Detention Center. Police have not yet released what charges he will face.
The shooting happened after 5 a.m. at The Garage bar in the 1400 block of East Flamingo Road.
Police arrived at the scene to find a bartender dead of apparent gunshot wounds. Authorities initially said the suspect was described as a white male adult wearing dark clothing. Robbery was not believed to be a motive for the crime.
