Suspect in Henderson police shooting charged with attempted murder
Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- The armed robbery suspect who police say fired a gun at officers on Monday morning has been charged with attempted murder and robbery with a deadly weapon.
Authorities said 60-year-old Anthony D. Rogers of Henderson was proxy booked on five counts of attempted murder and one count of robbery with a deadly weapon.
Rogers is accused of robbing a Henderson pharmacy at gunpoint on Monday, then leading police on a chase that ended at The District.
When Rogers shot at police, they returned fire.
Rogers remained at Sunrise Hospital as of Tuesday afternoon.
