LAS VEGAS (AP) -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified 25-year-old Marc Hull from Las Vegas as the man shot and killed by a Las Vegas Metro Police officer on Friday.

The shooting occurred at the Walmart located near Rainbow and Spring Mountain at around 4:30 a.m.

Police officials say Hull pulled a gun and opened fire as officers tried to arrest him and a woman, later identified as 25-year-old Carrie Helene Reed, in a credit or debit card fraud investigation.

An officer was wounded in the arm and shot in his bulletproff vest. He was hospitalized but is expected to recover.

Hull was shot several times and was pronounced dead at UMC.

No one else was injured.
