Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Javier Righetti, accused of murdering 15-year-old Alyssa Otremba last week, was ordered held without bail in his first court appearance on Thursday.

Righetti made his first court appearance in Las Vegas Justice court on Thursday morning.

The 19-year-old appeared in court dressed in navy blue jail scrubs, arms and legs shackled.

He was ordered held without bail pending a motion by his attorney, deputy public defender Tim O'Brien.
