Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The mug shot of Javier Righetti, alleged killer of 15-year-old Alyssa Otremba, was released on Tuesday.
Police say 19-year-old Righetti confessed to kidnapping, raping and stabbing Otremba, leaving her body in a vacant lot in northwestern Las Vegas on Friday night.
Otremba's body was found on Saturday, badly burned to the point of being unrecognizable. The Clark County Coroner's Office positively identified the body on Monday, citing multiple stab wounds as the cause of death.
Help from two other teenagers led police to the home of Righetti, where he was arrested on Monday.
Righetti was taken to the Clark County Detention Center and charged with kidnap, robbery, sexual assault and murder- all with a deadly weapon.
