A leak at Planet Hollywood Saturday caused flooding and emptied parts of the casino floor for hours.

Cleanup continued long after Caesars Entertainment says the leak was stopped.

Water was pooling on the ground and coming out of ceilings and light fixtures.

Nearly half of the casino floor was closed down.

Security guards barred entrances from the Miracle Mile Shops into the gaming area.

A flight of elevators was closed, causing large lines of guests wanting to go up to their rooms after checking in at the lobby.

On July 9, Caesars Entertainment released the following statement:

We continue to clean and dry the few remaining areas of Planet Hollywood's north-end casino level still affected by last night's water leak.  We are close to being fully operational with only a few food and beverage outlets and gaming areas still being cleaned.  It is important to note that Planet Hollywood's hotel operations,  guest services  and most casino and other services were unaffected by last night's water leak.
