Desert Rose High School was in a bind and a local charity came to their aid.
Serving Hope, a Las Vegas charity, helped provide Desert Rose High School with food for their students to take home with them over the weekend.
A lot of the kids at the school rely on the program to have meals over the weekend and thanks to Serving Hope those children don't have to worry where their next meal is coming from.
"For them? It means that they will not have an empty stomach for the weekend and it gives them hope that there's people in this city of Las Vegas that care," said volunteer Joanne Morrison.
