What she saw on her walk to the bus stop with her son stopped Shonta Whatley in her tracks.

"I went around the corner and I said, 'what the hell?' This is not supposed to be here," said Whatley.

She saw a flatbed truck carrying strange items that she thinks look like bombs. Whatley was upset something like that was parked right by her neighborhood.

"I was alarmed and nervous," she said. "I was upset because I'm like, 'hold on, there's kids over here, I live over here.' I'm nervous."

Whatley said she called Henderson police when she saw the truck parked at Cornucopia Avenue and Eastgate Road, not far from Sunset and Gibson roads. But police could not tell us anything because by the time their officers got there, the truck was gone.

Luis Ortiz, manager at Pro Customs, saw the truck too.

"I was amazed to see that truck this morning ... with, to me, it looked like bombs," Ortiz said.

He said he was not scared, but never saw anything like this before.

13 Action News called Military Memorabilia and sent them one of the pictures Whatley took. They said the cargo is not bombs, but disposable wing tanks, used to carry extra fuel on aircrafts. Once they're done, they can be used for scrap and are not dangerous.
