The Nevada Department of Corrections reports that on Wednesday around 11:05 p.m., Inmate Nicholas Dee Petroff died at Spring Valley Hospital.
The 44-year-old had been housed at Casa Grande Transitional Housing facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Petroff was committed from Churchill County on March 13, 2014 and was serving 19-48 months for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office responded and an autopsy is being scheduled. Next of kin have been notified.
