CDC says flu vaccine only 56-percent effective
It's been a rough flu and cold season, and the government says this year's flu shot didn't exactly do its job.
The Centers for Disease Control says the flu vaccine protected only 56-percent of Americans and even less when it comes to the elderly.
It only helped 9-percent of seniors.
The effectiveness of the flu vaccine is usually between 50 and 70-percent.
