Parents are furious about the eyesore across from a Las Vegas park and middle school near Hollywood Boulevard and Owens Avenue. Some say the graffiti and trash have been there for a few decades.

"I just notice there's a lot of glass, a lot of trash, a lot of beer bottles," said one mother.

On top of that, there's plenty of overgrown weeds and too many graffiti markings to count.

Cesar Chavez Park is next to Mike O'Callaghan Middle School.

"It's not good for our children to see that kind of stuff," one parent said.

Parents say if it ever gets cleaned up, it reappears over the course of the next few days. They also say the little nook surrounded by a brick wall is the perfect place for teens to party.

"It's a hiding place for everybody," said one father.

A Clark County spokesperson says they are in the process of cleaning up the mess. The rest of the graffiti will be cleaned up this weekend.

If you see graffiti, you can report it to 702-455-4509.
