UPDATE AT 5 P.M. A sudden storm dumped quite a bit of rain on the Las Vegas valley on Wednesday afternoon. Street flooding was reported in the Southern Highlands area and a tree fire was caused by lightning.
Despite the heavy rain in some part of the valley, no major incidents or damage has been reported.
