Firefighters responded to a fire at a home Tuesday evening believed to be the site of a grow operation.
The fire was reported in the attic of a home at 6244 Don Zarembo Ave., near Lake Mead Boulevard and Torrey Pines Drive. When Las Vegas Fire & Rescue arrived, firefighters found what appeared to be a grow operation.
Las Vegas police responded and found marijuana plants in the house. The narcotics team is investigating.
The home's occupant has been detained.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
