Wednesday is the two-month anniversary of a teenager being murdered in a community park near Durango Drive and Blue Diamond Road in Las Vegas.

Police are no closer to finding the killer, so the family of the victim asked the public for help Tuesday.

Officers say Eric Brooks, 18, was alone on a June night when he got into a gray Kia SUV. Police say there was a struggle inside and shots were fired.

The vehicle sped off after Brooks was pushed into the street.

He later died of numerous gunshot wounds.

The pain for Brooks' family hasn't subsided.

"If anybody has seen anything, heard anything, please [help]," said Angela Brooks, Eric's sister. "He was just a kid. Only got to be 18 for four months and that's it."

Eric's mother says he loved to dance and play football.
