Employees of Alfred Angelo's Las Vegas location were shocked to hear they would suddenly lose their jobs.
The national bridal chain announced Thursday it would close all of its locations that night. The company reportedly plans to file bankruptcy.
As brides frantically prepared to change their wedding plans, some employees prepared to change plans for their futures.
"The worst part is I am pregnant and the maternity leave that I'm supposed to have in 4 months, I'm not going to have anymore," said Biana Colon-Jurado who's worked at the Las Vegas location for three years.
Colon-Jurado said employees saw no signs the company was in trouble.
"We just found out at 10 a.m. yesterday morning that we don't have jobs," she said.
She also claims she was told she would not receive payment for the last two days she worked.
"We're trying to figure out, you know, rent, we're trying to figure out how we're going to pay for diapers," she said.
Meanwhile, customers are scrambling to receive their dresses or refunds.
One Las Vegas mother said she paid $832 as a deposit for her daughter's wedding dress. She said she'll get the money back, but the dress is irreplaceable.
"This was the dress of her dreams and the whole thing has become a nightmare," said Shellie Eads.
Alfred Angelo did not return 13 Action News' request for comment and has been silent on social media.
