The local Native American Community gathered on the Las Vegas Strip Friday evening to protest the construction of an oil pipeline in North Dakota.
Organizers said the pipeline would be built on sacred Native American Land, and that the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe is concerned about water contamination.
Demonstrations opposing the pipeline began in April and will continue until it is relocated.
