People living in Desert Shores say they're disgusted after this past weekend's pollen storm left their lake smelly and slimy.

"In the 22 years I have lived here, I have never seen this!" said Fran Lieberman.

"It just seems to be getting thicker and nastier," said Rex Proctor.

The pollen mixed with the water created a thick yellow gunk. Bugs are crawling through it and it smells.

"I'm very surprised this hasn't been addressed," said Proctor.

Proctor watched ducks and swans walk through it and come out covered in it.

"They come out and they've got the yellow slime on them, it's really not cool," he said.
