Las Vegas police are looking for a violent robbery suspect and they are asking for the public's help.

Police say that the man entered a business in the 7800 block of West Tropical Parkway near Centennial Center Boulevard on Oct. 23.

The man, who was armed with a large stick, approached several employees and demanded money.

He forced two employees to the office area in the store and repeatedly struck one of the victims with a stick, cutting the victim's arm.

He then placed his hands around the neck of the same employee and threatened to kill the victim if the employee did not give him money.

He was able to escape before police arrived at about 8:53 p.m.

The man is described as a light-skinned black male adult in his 20s, standing about 5-feet 8-inches tall, and weighing approximately 170-180 pounds.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black beanie hat, black sunglasses, light grey hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt underneath, dark gloves, and dark jeans. Additionally, the suspect was described as having braces on his teeth.

He was last seen carrying a backpack, and was armed with a sharp wooden or metal object. S.
