North Las Vegas police arrest soccer coach for lewdness with 15-year-old

A soccer coach has been arrested in connection with a lewdness investigation involving a child.

On May 16, police were contacted in reference to inappropriate touching between an independent soccer coach and a 15-year-old girl on one of his teams. The incident occurred at a park in the 1900 block of East Tonopah Avenue, near Civic Center Drive and Owens Avenue. 

The investigation led to the arrest of 54-year-old Agustin Ramirez-Rodriguez.   Ramirez was transported to Las Vegas City Detention Center and booked on two counts of lewdness with a minor under 16.
