A San Bernardino County man who escaped after his arrest was taken into custody in Las Vegas.
On Sunday, 31-year-old Charles Brown of Adelanto, California, had escaped from the back seat of a Victorville Police Department vehicle after he was arrested for transportation of narcotics.
Brown was sitting in the back seat and was able to slip one hand out of his handcuffs and exit the patrol car. He fled the area on foot.
On Tuesday, the Victorville Police Department’s Gang Team, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Specialized Enforcement Team, and the U.S. Marshall’s office conducted a joint operation and found Brown in Las Vegas.
