Police say that 3 men got into a fight on Thursday morning. Two of the men were in a white truck with lettering on the side and the other man was in a separate vehicle.
The incident, which took place near Boulder Highway and Harmon Avenue, was reported shortly after 6 a.m.
Police say that the men exited their vehicles and one man began chasing another down the street. When he caught up with him, he beat him with a metal object.
The man then returned to his vehicle and was last seen driving south on Boulder Highway.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and is being treated for injuries to his face and head.
Police are still looking for the man who fled the scene. It is not known at this time what led to the altercation.
