A suspect has been arrested in a homicide that occurred earlier in July.
35-year-old Quinton Reese was arrested Tuesday at an apartment in the 9000 block of West Desert Inn Road, near El Capitan Way.
He was arrested in the incident July 11 that took place at an apartment complex in the 3700 block of East Bonanza Road, near Pecos Road. Arriving officers located an unresponsive man in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Homicide detectives determined the victim was shot shortly after he arrived at the apartment complex.
Reese was booked in the Clark County Detention Center where he faces one count of murder with a deadly weapon.
