Henderson Police arrested two suspects on burglary charges Friday morning.

Just after midnight on Friday, a homeowner confronted an unknown male inside a garage at the 60 block of Incline Village Court. The suspect fled the scene on foot.

As Henderson Police were searching for the suspect in a neighborhood, they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle they saw without its lights. The female driver sped away when officers approached the vehicle.

The vehicle crashed into a barrier while traveling westbound on the 215 beltway. Police followed the vehicle as it struck a curb at Pebble Road and Green Valley Parkway. It came to a stop near the Corporate Circle professional building complex, and a male and female suspects escaped the vehicle on foot.

The suspects fled into a nearby apartment complex. Police set up a perimeter, and both suspects were captured without incident.

22-year-old Taylor Goodman and 26-year-old Shawn Erickson are being held at the Henderson Detention Center on charges related to burglary, drug trafficking, and reckless driving.
