In an interview with Inside Edition, Christy Mack opened up about the recent conviction of her ex-boyfriend and former MMA fighter "War Machine".

In March, War Machine, previously known as Jonathan Koppenhaver, was convicted of brutally assaulting Christy Mack and her friend Corey Thomas.

War Machine was also convicted of sexual assault against Mack.

"It was a whole new level that I had never experienced. He punched my teeth out, he broke my nose, my complete eye socket was fractured," Mack told Inside Edition as she relived the night she was attacked in her Las Vegas home.

War Machine is serving a sentence of 36 years to life. Mack said she feels safer knowing he's behind bars.

"I do feel that justice has been served and I hope that so many other people can," Mack said.

Mack plans to devote her life to helping other victims of dating violence.
