Cause of death revealed in motorcycle crash

On March 24 around 9:39 a.m, a critical injury single vehicle motorcycle crash happened on Warm Springs Road west of South El Capitan Way.
 
Investigators say a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Warm Springs Road when it struck the right curb, ejecting the operator.
 
65-year-old Stephen Dupont was transported to St. Rose San Martin Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
On May 3, Fatal Detail received reports from the Clark County Coroner which showed the cause of death was a result of multiple blunt force injuries due to motorcycle crash. The manner of death was ruled an accident.
 
This is the 41st traffic related fatality in LVMPD's jurisdiction in 2016.
